Virtual Assistants are entrepreneurs who work from their home offices as independent contractors. Clients can delegate general secretarial work, research, marketing, and/or MANY other daily tasks that seem to drain the life out of your creative mind.

The International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA) defines a Virtual Assistant (VA) as: “an independent entrepreneur providing administrative, creative and/or technical services. Utilizing advanced technological modes of communication and data delivery, a professional VA assists clients in his/her area of expertise from his/her own office on a contractual basis”.

This is how I explain what a VA is. Think of an Office Manager or an Administrative Assistant working for you from her/his home for you. They (by that, I mean I) work for you ONLY for the tasks you need. You are only charged for the time that is spent on those tasks.
